Stucky can fill the point guard roll already in my opinion. How about Rip and Sheed for Carmelo? He's young, tons of talent and if MC and the staff at Detroit can get his act together I bet he can help lift the team over the hump in the playoffs. All in all, something new has to be done. We're getting stale and I want another championship here in Michigan!

First, Tayshaun is one of the top 5 on-ball defend...

First, Tayshaun is one of the top 5 on-ball defenders in the game and can also create his own shot and takes it to the hoop which Marion does not do. His contract expires after next season. This will clear 13 million dollars of cap space for the Pistons. If they were to make another move to dump some salary, they could go after Lebron Jame or Dwyane Wade in Free Agency next summer. Ironically, Rasheed's contract is the same reason he will be traded. It has a lot of value to teams who want to clear cap space. I think it's going to be interesting to see what happens.

As far as Tayshaun goes, I agree that he is somewhat overvalued by the Pistons. But don't discount the fact that he had to guard Paul Pierce all series. Pierce never really exploded on the Pistons. He had some spurts where he was scoring at will, but nobody can really shut down a great player all the time.

I would absolutedly take Elton Brand for Sheed and a draft pick. That is a no brainer in my mind.

I would replace Tay for Marion in a heartbeat....M...

I would replace Tay for Marion in a heartbeat....

Maybe not Brand but what about Chris Kaman from the Clippers...great center...

Agreed on all points.
