I am 28 and I will be 29 in 8 days. My brother just turned 33. We were playing dirty Santa Saturday with a bunch of people, and my bro let one rip. He was looking around to see if anyone heard it. He had a worried look on his face. When our eyes met, he grinned and like we were both 9 and 12 again. His immaturity made me laugh.
I do know what it is about farts. It is just part of human nature, and it is good for a cheap laugh. That is why were they put in those movies.
Sorry about that last sentence. "Spell check" does not help stupid sentence structure.
One of my personal favorites is when Hooch farts in "Turner and Hooch." Classic.
There is no better movie fart scene than the one in Blazing Saddles. None.
On TV, there was one on Boston Legal where Denny Crane farted in John Larroquette's character's face when he was told to quit sexually harrassing the staff. That's the best TV fart scene.
How about when Finch is forced to use the girls restroom in American Pie?

Reminds me of that scene in Mike Bassett but he 'followed through' so I guess it doesn't count.
