THE DUMBING DOWN OF AMERICA

My experience getting coffee this morning was probably more than I bargained for.

An Indian couple in front of me got to the register and asked for a milk shake for their son.

A milk shake at Einstein bagels? Maybe they weren't familiar with coffee shops. To make matters worse the young man at the register offered a iced mocha instead...

Uh, last time I checked, a chocolate milk shake and an iced mocha really aren't the the same thing...In fact, the kid might die if he drank an iced mocha

Anyways, I get to the front of the line...

Him: What'd you have?

Me: Everything Bagel and I can get a medium coffee

Him: You want something to drink?

Me: Yes, a medium coffee

Him: What size?

Me: I said medium

Him: Oh
