CHARLES ROGERS ORDERED TO REPAY LIONS 8.5 MILLION

Well, well, well....

Charles Rogers day has finally come. After being injured his first couple of seasons in the league and smoking away his chances at ever coming back, the Lions have finally got the judgement they've been looking for.

The Detroit Lions have won a judgment against former receiver Charles Rogers, who must now repay the club roughly $8.5 million.

I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that Charles Rogers does not have that money. In fact, I'd venture a guess that even if he sold his entire marijuana farm, that he'd still be about 8.3 million short.

So was it really worth it for the Lions to try and recoup that money from a guy who's bagging groceries at Meijer?

Well, for the Lions, this is basically their Super Bowl. Its the one good thing thats happened to them. Its the one thing they can pat each other on the backs about. Its the one thing that gives owner William Clay Ford a boner in the morning.

Cause God knows winning isn't the overriding factor at Allen Park Headquarters. As long as that money keeps pouring in, nothing else matters.

I'm no C-Rog apologist, but why should he have to pay back any money?

All of the guy's injuries were football related. The Marijuana was purely medicinal.
