SPYGATE AGAIN? WEIS AND ND COACHING STAFF USE ILLEGAL LAPTOP

Two years ago, Charlie Weis lied to officials during a MSU-Notre Dame game about being slapped. It cost the Spartans 15 yards....video of the incident and replays showed that Weis was clearly fabricating the story...
And now two years later, Weis has again tried to pull a fast one at Spartan Stadium. During the first half of the MSU-Notre Dame game, the Irish coaching box had a laptop confiscated from them by game officials.
Weis explained later that the computer was accidentally brought in by an intern...
Uh, no offense Charlie, but you're track record isn't exactly clean buddy.
Videos, computers....Hell, at this point, what hasn't Weis tried...
I fully expect to see Matt Walsh trolling the sidelines at the next ND home game

not again...
Cheating Cheaters Cheat.
Charlie, Charlie, Charlie...
did he try and pawn it off as a sandwich?
That's what I heard
Lose the fade-in ads.
Can you not have a computer? I've never heard that before.
its a ncaa rule that you aren't allowed to have computers in the coaching box
WRONG reporting as usual, get your facts straight! A student manager was charting their OWN defensive calls with a laptop so that they wouldn't have to stay up late typing it in. How about getting the right story like a REAL journalist and quit assuming stuff.
really....
so if the coaches knew that there wasn't supposed to be a laptop in the booth, why didn't they tell the "student manager" to put it away
interesting
by the way, are you the student manager?
No I'm not a student manager just a die hard fan. There's nothing to gain or competitive advantage when you chart your own defensive plays and down & distance on a laptop. All they're doing is logging in their calls as oppose to writing them on a sheet of paper and later in the night transfer them onto the laptop. It makes sense to do it on a laptop so you're not doing twice the work. Read the full story from Coach Weis's press conference from yesterday:
http://und.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/092108aab.html
so I'm supposed to believe a man who lied about a player slapping him and thus, gaining a competitive advantage in a game...
call me crazy but his credibility isn't exactly rock hard
Believe whatever you want. Its not like you're a renowned journal expert anyway. Keep up with the unethical journal reporting by the way! Its people like you with your blogging makes the internet such garbage for information. Those were the facts in a actual press conference statement. If you still can't believe it that's your choice.
one, I'm not a journalist and I'm not reporting anything. I referenced an article from an actual journalist that was in the press box...
furthermore, you're the idiot who keeps blogs going by continually visiting them and commenting...
so for that, I thank you
Shut up, Anonymous.
One: "Its not like you're a renowned journal expert anyway." Yes, you said that. Take a close look at this blog. It has such hits as "Mammaries Monday", "Afternoon Delight with . . . ", "The Hottest NFL Cheerleader," and the one-fat b*tch story. Not exactly hard hitting news. So, shut your piss. You're an idiot.
Two: I read the laptop story on ESPN. It was a story, plain and simple. Sure, there are two sides to a story, but it's a story and WOI wrote about it. So, shut your piss. You're an idiot.
Three: OK, so assuming your story is true, and it was s tudent manager cutting his work load in half; does that make it legal? I'm not familiar with the rule, but does it say, "no computers in the coaches box, unless it is being used by a student manager to chart plays so he/she doesn't have to re-type it all later that evening."? Probably not. Weis is the fat . . . I mean, head coach, that means he's in charge of and responsible for all of this stuff. A broken rule is a broken rule. Is this a serious violation? If your story is true: no, probably not. But don't jump down WOI's proverbial throat for exposing your head coaches gross, fleshy underbelly. So, shut your piss. You're an idiot.
Four: I always say "I'm a ND fan 51 weeks a year," with the one exceptional week being that in which ND plays MSU. Every year I go to the MSU/ND game, and every year it becomes more and more difficult to go back to being an ND fan. Nevermind the increasingly abysmol play of your team, and increasingly questionable credibility of your staff/program, the bigger problem is the self-proclaimed "die hard fan", like you, that surround ND football, and absolutely ruin the traditional ND tradition. All of a sudden, long gone are the principles of discipline, intergrity and excellence that the great players, coaches, and shoot, even Father Hesburgh used to represent, and all we are left with are loud-mouth jackassses, presumably like you, and pompous a-holes, exactly like you, that wear the t-shirt and scream nothing but obscenities where ever you go. That, and a leprechaun doing push-ups (though not very many these days, huh?). So, shut your piss. You're an idiot. And to borrow your phrase: It's people like you with your squawking that makes ND such a garbage program.
i believe on the internet, thats called getting owned...
sorry anonymous
"Shut Your Piss, You're an Idiot'
Hilarious...
That is the line of the day.
Wow! The only point this anonymous guy was trying to prove that Coach Weis wasn't cheating at all. It was a mistake by a student manager who didn't know the rules of the press box. I read the transcript and I could understand the other coaches not being aware of the laptop in the booth. The coaches booth is 3 tiered with the coaches at the bottom and the student at the top. I'm sure if the coaches saw him with the laptop they would've said something.
Doesn't seem so difficult though. There hasn't been any other team that has been caught doing that
Seems like the Irish either don't know the rules or are doing their best to skirt them
I'm sorry, does Brian have to shut his piss, too?
This anonymous guy started this whole rant by saying: "WRONG reporting as usual, get your facts straight! A student manager was charting their OWN defensive calls with a laptop so that they wouldn't have to stay up late typing it in. How about getting the right story like a REAL journalist and quit assuming stuff."
He went on the offensive. Re-read WOI's initial story. He says Weis explained an "intern" or whatever brought it in. He wasn't "WRONG" (he's not a "REAL journalist" either, but that's neither here nor there).
Thanks for the totally irrelevant description of the coaches box and the layout. With all those tiers, it probably is hard to keep track of the 7 people in there. Again, there appears to be a rule directly addressing whether or not ANYONE can have a computer in the coaches box during a game - specifcally, the rule says computers are not allowed. Despite this rule, there was a computer in the ND coaches box on Saturday. ND, therefore, violated the rule. Three tiers, student manager, intern, FUPA, gay QB, whatever, a specific rule was specifically broken. Is it a big deal? Probably not. But why can't ND Nation acknowledge the rule was broken? Why do you have to make excuses, or try to explain it away (a la Lloyd Carr, ironically), rather than man up and say "oops. shouldn't have happened."?
Because you're losers. That's why.
So, shut YOUR piss, Brian. You're an idiot, too.
I am a Tennessee fan and we dont need to cheat to lose a ball game we do it fair and square. A rule was broken and thats that although Notre Dame still needs to go to a bowl game because they are Notre Dame (LMAO) Weis was a chaeter at New England and ditto with the Irish.
preach on brother
