LIONS FANS EAGERLY AWAIT WILLIAM CLAY FORD'S DEATH

After 5 decades of frustration, Lions fans have finally had it.

They are now calling for the death of the owner.

And while I usually find the editing of Wiki entries fairly immature, in this case, I am willing to make an exception.

Here's the link...(although, I can guarantee you that sometime in the next 24 hours some intern in the Lions orgo will have to edit it.)

God pity that intern.

Oh yea, if you missed it yesteday, the Lions somehow fell behind 21-0 but staged a comeback.

However, that comeback was halted when Jon "If God is on my side, who can be against me" Kitna threw 3 interceptions in a 5 minute span.

I'm personally rooting for a 0-16 record....who's with me?

I love the idea of the lions losing all 16 games. But they will still find a way to mess up the first pick of the draft.

I can't say I wish death on people but if WCF died, I'm not sure I would be too broken up

Well it is one of my life long dreams to see a team run the table in reverse. But do you think the lions would be able to make that happen. I mean by sheer dumb luck they might fall into a win somewhere along the line. Right now im looking at the texans myself for the lions one victory

The only problem with going 0-16 is that it would give us the top pick in the draft. With that many options, is there any way that Millen WON'T fuck up the pick?

millen would get assassinated if they went 0-16

Yeah, definitely hoping for 0-16. I didn't even attempt to get my hopes up this year. They have to fire millen after that.

Just for the record, it was Bill Ford Jr. who wanted Millen in the first place. What makes you think things will be different when Sr. is gone?
There was an article in the Detroit News a few months back about the 3 Detroit owners, Ford, Davidson and Illitch. An interesting point was made that Illitch and Davidson had to work their asses off to be where they are. Therefore, they developed a sense of competitiveness and desire to win. Ford was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and never had to compete with anyone. So, he doesn't know how to win, and really doesn't care to.
But honestly, the braintrust is a problem. But the people I'm starting to blame more are the fans. Why do these idiots keep pumping money into that stadium? When people stop going, changes will be made. As long as people are at the games, the Fords have no reason to care. They are still making their money.

I've never seen such a late game collapse. Oh wait, I'm a Michigan State and Lions fan. Thank goodness for high school football.

people aren't going as much Bus

They tried desperately in the offseason to sell packages but they were still way under what they were from previous years...

and even if, it really doesn't matter because of the NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement and Revenue Sharing
