DOWN GOES FEDERER

For one Sunday in July, tennis finally mattered again. Tennis finally stepped out of its shell and produced a final that people, dare I say, wanted to watch.

And though fans love seeing dominate players and hate seeing dudes in capri pants, it was good to see someone dethrone Federer on what essentially was his homecourt.

And I hate to toot my own horn, but I did predict a Nadal victory in Wimbledon 3 weeks ago.

By the way, is it me or is this picture a bit curious?

And not curious like Curious George, but curious like George Michael....
