MAGIC CHOKE AWAY GAME 4, JAMEER NELSON GUARANTEES VICTORY

Photobucket

When you have a team down 15 at home without their starting point guard and you fail to get a W, chances are you aren't a good basketball team.

In fact, I'll go as far as saying that the Magic are an extremely average team.

Its one thing to have good players in Turkoglu and Lewis and perhaps, even a great player in Dwight Howard. But if you can't put it together as a team, you might as well pack your bags now.

So as a Piston fan, I would like to thank the porn star himself, Stan Van Gundy and his troop of worthless basketball players on throwing a home game away.

You just made it that much easier for us.......

"I'm not trying to be arrogant or cocky or anything like that," said Nelson after the Magic fell to the Pistons 90-89 Saturday in Game 4. "But tonight, we let it slip out of our hands. Game 2 we let slip out of our hands.

"We're going to win this game in Detroit."

I hate to go Pedro Martinez here, but

"Who is Jameer Nelson".

Dude is part of the worst starting backcourt in the NBA today. Please buddy, spare us the non-sense.

Guarantees have been blown out of proportion for almost a decade now. They mean nothing. They deserve no attention. If anything, I like JM's confidence after losing a game they should have won.

This post sounds like something Don Shane would say = you should delete it.

Every player should feel like they have a chance to win every game....saying it to the paper, doesn't reek of confidence, it reeks of stupidity....especially coming from a "c" player

Why is it stupid?

Because it puts more pressure on him to perform. His teammmates, his fans and his opponents will look at him in a different light if he comes out in game 5 and lays an egg.

The fact that it's potentially their last game overrides any pressure that he put on himself by making a silly statement.

I'm not sure when it was taken, but I do not appreciate that WOI's first reaction was to take a picture, rather than help me, when he saw me choking. THEN, he posts the picture on his blog. "Not cool, man. Not cool." (A. Wilson, circa 2000)
