CHEESE WITH YOUR WINE DENVER?

JULIAN H. GONZALEZ/DFP
Denver fans must be really angry these days. First, the Nuggets become the only 50 win team to ever get swept in the playoffs and now, their beloved Avalanche are down 3-0 to the Wings.
And its not just the fans who are frustrated. Read this "unbiased" assessment from Denver Post writer Adrian Dater....In a game that saw Forsberg sent to the penalty box for six minutes for what referees Don Koharski and Kelly Sutherland saw as illegal stickwork, both refs swallowed their whistles when Forsberg was clearly
tripped by Detroit's Johan Franzen off the rush, with nearly 90 seconds left on an existing Avs power play.
The play in question regarding Forsberg's illegal stickwork sent Mikael Samuelson's teeth to the ice. Indeed. Fate has deemed that everything goes the Red Wings' way in this series, on and off the ice. The Avs entered the game with a banged-up Forsberg, his groin area heavily wrapped, and with rugged left wing Ryan Smyth out with a foot injury. Then, in the first period, regular-season leading scorer Paul Stastny went down with a knee injury.
Here's a thought....maybe you shouldn't have brought Forsberg on board. Dude hasn't been healthy since the 90s.

GO Wings!
Boring.
i try
Forsberg probably did that intentionally. Missing a tripping call is different than Forsberg knocking out the guys tooth.
Besides Adrian Dater is a prick and loser, I should know I use to work at Pepsi Center with the media. The people who read his stuff in Denver don't like the guy.
I meant to say that Dater is also a sociopath.
yea, I hope he is not representative of the fans...colorado's version of Drew Sharp perhaps?
We CO fans need no cheese, we'll wine anyway.
